The announcement that die-hard Shaycarl and Shaytards fans have been dreading has arrived. Shaycarl has gone on vacation with Katilette and will not be posting the regular vlogs for the next few days. This is where I feel things stand on this matter.
Shaycarl has had a crazy couple of years and he has been through a lot, though it's been mostly good things, it does seem to have exhausted Shaycarl in a rather negative way. When taking this into account; it is very reasonable for Shaycarl to go away. Although many fans are unhappy; they have to accept that Shaycarl is human and simply needs this break. My honest opinion is that Shaycarl is getting tired of doing the vlogs, and although it has been very profitable and nice over the past few years, he is simply ready to move on to bigger and better things. Obviously Shay wont openly admit this point for fear of angering his fan base, although he has hinted that the vlogs will soon end on numerous occasions. It started with the "One take Sunday", then "Brett the Intern" doing the editing, and in between that the random excuses a couple of times a month as to why there was no video that day. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that there is a problem with Shay having Brett edit or subtracting from the original daily vlog, what I am saying is that this is the direction that Shay is headed in. Let me know what you think.

clearly you are wrong because he just started his own company with his brother and goin to stay in LA. brett is his employee amd saves him time to be with his family. if anythin i think he should slow down to 3 times a week.
ReplyDeleteHe is not tired of the vlogs. He has done as any smart businessman and is expanding/diversifying the business into different areas, which increases his career stability and allows him the opportunity to offer employment to others. It's great that he has enough business sense to grow his business. With the economy and unemployment being what they are I think it is great he has got himself in a position where he can provide employment. Shay and Colette are awesome and I can admit I am a bit jealous of their success.
